Superfood Slammer
Here's my recipe that combines the 5 Foods You Should Eat Every Day Until You Die!
Make sure your ingredients are all unsweetened, including the cacao powder, coconut milk and other liquid. Check out the add-ons at the bottom if you want to adjust texture or taste. Depending on the sweetness of your berries, and your taste buds, you may want to add some banana or a date.
Ingredients:
- 1-1.5 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp matcha powder (powdered green tea)
- ¼ cup coconut milk (canned or homemade)
- 1-2 tsp tahini
- ½ cup blueberries
- 1-2 tsp cacao powder
- ¾ cup liquid (nut milk, seed milk, water)
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients and whisk in blender or food processor.
Other optional add-ins:
- 1 T almond butter to add some protein and make it more of a meal
- 1 date to sweeten
- 1 banana to sweeten and thicken
- 4-6 brazil nuts to add your daily dose of selenium (which is great for the thyroid!)
